Some computer issues can be resolved only if we are in front of them. We all hate when a friend or relative calls and asks how to solve a problem with a printer. Radmin Remote Control is a professional way of saying "step out of the way, let me handle this", but from a distance. With its simple and elegant interface, you can view a remote computer's desktop, in real time, control it, transfer files and more.

The application comes in two parts. There are two setup files in a 7.79 Mb archive. The administrator module, known as the viewer, must be installed on your own computer, after which you need to install the server on the computer you want to control.

Radmin's core functions can be executed with the options on the toolbar. You will have to add one or more computers, by specifying their names, IP addresses or DNS addresses, on a separate window. A color format, view mode (normal, full screen, etc) and other control features can be selected on the same window. When you are done, the connection will appear as an icon on the application's interface. You may create new folders and toggle a tree menu to organize your connections.

Configurations must be made on the other end as well. Once installed, the server module can be used to allow or deny certain actions, connections and so on. Also on the server, it is possible to create Radmin user accounts. When you need to connect to that computer, you will have to specify a username and a password. Connecting to a computer can be done by double clicking its icon or by selecting it and clicking the connect button on the toolbar.

The software lets you open a remote screen for the server computer, take full control, connect through a terminal window, send messages and chat the traditional way or by using voice call. These options can be found on the toolbar and you need to select one before connecting. Most of them will be available while you are connected to a computer. Files can be transferred, in both directions, as well. If you connect to a computer, while this option is selected, a dual pane window will show up, where you can browse through your own files on one side, and your friend's files on the other.

Pros

The program allows you to remotely control computers on your LAN or via the Internet. It uses a secure 256-bit AES encrypted connection, it supports multiple connections and monitors and it is very easy to use. The viewer and server modules come in separate packages, which means that you can install strictly what you need on a certain computer.

Cons

The application is free to try for 30 days. Radmin Remote Control makes it possible to communicate with your friends and provide assistance at the same time. Thanks to its powerful and easy to use features, this task has never been easier.
